About Us

The F.A.R.M. Club is a group of high school students that promotes and participates in Florida farming, agriculture, and its resources.  The clubs’ goals are to not only to train its members about agriculture and help to feed the needy, but to have fun doing it.

Our crops are planted in the center of Florida, between Fort Meade and Frostproof.  The area we have chosen has more organic soils than is traditionally associated with Florida, giving club members a chance to plant and grow a greater variety of vegetables than would otherwise be possible.

We are also going to host or attend between 3 and 6 other events scheduled throughout the year.  So, checkout our calendar to see what is coming up next!

Volunteering

We plant vegetable crops in the late fall and harvest them in the early spring.  These crops are grown, cultivated, and picked by the club’s members and then donated to local food banks.

Our goal is to tie in science, agriculture, and fun, with charity.  It doesn’t have to be boring to help others.
